WIOA Partner Briefing - Adult and Dislocated Worker Programs
12:00 PM ~ 1:00 PM ET
This webinar is part of the next round of technical assistance (TA) activities being presented by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Interagency One-Stop Policy and TA Workgroup, which includes a series of informal briefings describing individual WIOA partner programs that make up the workforce system.
Hosted by the Employment and Training Administration (ETA), these monthly briefings provide a forum to understand each of the partner programs better, learn how they fit together, and appreciate what each bring to the table. The briefings are primarily targeted towards all WIOA partners, including Federal staff (National and Regional offices) and the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) members. Other selected state/local workforce members will also be invited on a selected basis. This month's WIOA Partner Program briefing is the Department of Labor's, Employment and Training Administration's, Adult and Dislocated Worker programs. Join us to learn more about how the adult and dislocated worker formula programs support the workforce system under WIOA.
Meet us in person in the Francis Perkins Building or attend virtually, for a lunch and learn session presented by our ETA partners.
There will also be time for a brief Q&A! Next Briefing: January 11, 2018, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
