This webinar will provide a very
important reminder to long-standing and new YouthBuild grantees related to
guidance and documentation. In the world of federal grants, if you can’t
provide documentation, the outcome never happened! Don’t let this happen to
you!
Description
This webinar will review
existing guidance documents (Training and Employment Guidance Letters and
Training and Employment Notices) that are particularly relevant and important
for YouthBuild grantees. Among this guidance, the webinar will spend time
specifically describing the importance of required and allowable documentation
for both participant eligibility and participant outcomes. Federal
Project Officers will present on the findings they have encountered on monitoring
visits and the ways grantees often get into trouble due to lack of
documentation, as well as reviewing the potential negative outcomes that can
result for an organization during close-out if sufficient documentation is not
provided.
