Voices of Experience: Sector Partnerships in Action
Podcast-Webcast
This video documents how the Wichita, Kansas Workforce Board convened its partners to address the area’s aviation sector needs as well as those of related industry sectors. Participants discuss the creation of the “Blueprint for Regional Economic Growth,” which evolved out of partnership deliberations. As a result, area workforce practitioners, employers, and educational institutions have a common basis to address the needs of their region for a skilled workforce.
Participants include Jeffrey Fluhr, President, Greater Wichita Partnership; Kathy Jewett, Human Resources Manager, XLT Ovens, Workforce Board Chair; Sheree Utash, President Wichita Area Technical College; and Keith Lawing, President/CEO, Workforce Centers of South Central Kansas.
