This video features four practitioners who discuss how they are strategically forming their local boards.  They document their approaches including focusing on employers as their primary customers, but not forgetting job seekers; supplying the talent pipeline through business engagement;  initiating regional innovation; serving as a pivot point between employers and the economic development and education communities of interest; and recruiting board members from key area industries.

Participants include Clyde McQueen, President/CEO Full Employment Council, Kansas City, Missouri; David Hollers, Executive Director, Centralia Workforce Development Board, North Carolina; Paul Haynes, Executive Director, Middle Tennessee Workforce Board; and Keith Lawing, Senior Administrator, Regional Economic Area Partnership, Kansas.
