WIOA presents an opportunity to create or deepen partnerships that will advance the prosperity of regions. The key vehicles through which much of this will occur are strong industry sector partnerships. Whether you’re just beginning in building sector partnerships or you are far along, you’ll find something of value at the Employment & Training Administration's 2nd Annual Sector Strategies Virtual Institute May 16 – 20, 2016.

The Institute kicks off Monday, May 16 with an Interactive Opening Plenary with Deputy Assistant Secretary Eric Seleznow and your peers from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST. The session will feature seasoned leaders as they discuss their advancements and lessons learned in WIOA planning, regionalizing local partnerships, and industry sector approaches.

Then join us for workshops throughout the week; choose from large plenary sessions or smaller interactive workshops. This year the event will include “101” sessions designed for beginners and “201” sessions for those regions who are more advanced.
