The pace of change today means there’s no such thing as standing still. If we’re not moving forward, we’re in danger of falling behind. So now, more than ever, your job demands world-class tools to keep you informed and connected.  That’s why we’ve launched Workforce GPS, the next generation website to keep you connected with the latest events, technical resources, and best practices from the public workforce system, education, and business leaders across the country.

Workforce GPS takes the best of Workforce3One and makes it easy to navigate so you can spend less time looking for the right tools and more time using them. We know that work doesn’t just happen when you’re at the office, so we’ve taken the power of collaboration on your desktop or laptop and made it just as functional on your tablet or phone.

So what’s new?

For starters... a straightforward and clear navigation with a responsive interface.  WorkforceGPS can be accessed not only on your desktop or laptop but across mobile devices. Additionally, WorkforceGPS and its Communities and Collections have a consistent site design—if you’re familiar with one Community or Collection, you understand them all.

WorkforceGPS uses an improved search engine tool that allows you to search the entire site or hone in on a specific Community or Collection. Additionally, all content and resources within WorkforceGPS are tagged using a comprehensive ETA taxonomy, which allows you to search for what you need by activity, program, target population, geographic location, industry/sector, or content type.

If you are a registered member of the site, with just the click of a mouse you can save all your favorite resources for easy retrieval on My WorkforceGPS. Additionally, all webinars that you attend are automatically saved to your user profile under My Events.

WorkforceGPS makes it easier than ever to share resources. Not only can you quickly find and save resources, but with the click of a button, you can easily send a favorite resource to a peer via email or share it on social media with the hashtag #FoundItOnWFGPS.

Let us know what you think – your feedback and contributions will help make the site even more valuable to our workforce community.
